York Childcare Limited is a provider of quality childcare within the City of York.

Over 20 years of providing excellent childcareOur three children's day nurseries provide full and part-time day care for children in the 6 weeks to 5 years age group, and our Out of School Club Management Service supports five out of school clubs across the city for school aged children.

Nurseries
Through York Childcare's experienced, qualified and supportive staff we offer a warm, caring, lively atmosphere where children can explore and learn about their world.

Our nurseries are Ofsted inspected, offer home-cooked food and each have their own outdoor play areas.

Out Of School Management Service
We currently work in partnership providing childcare for the families whose children attend Acomb Primary School, Our Lady Queen of Martyr's RC School, St. Barnabas CE Primary School, Poppleton Road Primary School, St. Paul's CE Primary School, St. Paul's Nursery School, Dunnington Primary School and Clifton with Rawcliffe Primary School.

Our management service is unique and can offer the day to day management of your setting which your committee currently have the responsibility of. Our Management Service includes completion of accounts, invoicing parent users, banking, budgets and payrolls. We would be responsible for safe recruitment of staff and staff training. We make sure each setting is meeting Ofsted requirements and is offering high quality childcare. We fund raise and complete grant applications, making sure your setting is sustainable. Charitable Status
York Childcare is a charity, established in 1990, managed by a board of voluntary trustees, who have a particular interest in supporting the childcare needs of lone parents. A limited number of assisted places are available at each of its three nurseries, enabling parents / carers to access high quality day care, yet pay a subsidised rate, subject to certain criteria.
