York Childcare Ltd is a childcare charity whose mission is to establish high quality day care facilities in the York area to enable parents to return to work. Through York Childcare's experienced, qualified and supportive staff we offer a warm, caring atmosphere where children can explore and learn about their world.
York Childcare has a particular interest in the childcare needs of the lone parents, and is committed to providing a number of assisted places at each of its three nurseries.
York Childcare Ltd currently runs JOSEPH'S NURSERY, HEATHER'S NURSERY, SCARCROFT GREEN NURSERY.

A new and exciting service for voluntary management groups running out of school clubs.  If you are struggling to maintain a voluntary committee to run your club please contact us for an informal chat on how our service might help.

At present we work in partnership with Out of School settings across York and outer villages.

York Childcare works in partnership with other organisations in the city. Originally this was with leading employers- HSBC Bank plc, York Health Services, NHS Trust and the City of York Council. Together we are committed to providing affordable, accessible, high quality day care provision in the city, on behalf of their employees and the working parents of York.The partnership approach has placed us in a strong position to sucessfully bid for government funding to improve both the quality and quantity of childcare provision in the York area.
