If you are looking for high quality Ofsted-regulated childcare for your child you have come to the right place.........here at York Childcare we understand that there are times when you need extra support to juggle work, family life, domestic chores and social events, that is why we strive to support you in the best way we can.

Our three children's day nurseries -
Josephs on Rawcliffe Lane, just off Shipton Road (from Shipton Road turn left at the traffic lights and we are on the left)
Heathers at Acomb near West Bank Park ( next door to Pine Trees)
Scarcroft Green in the grounds of Scarcroft Primary School

We provide full and part-time day care (and flexibility when possible) for children in the 6 weeks to 5 years age group.
In the nursery world there is nothing more important than being able to trust the person looking after your child. That is why at York Childcare we only recruit staff who are going to create and maintain a fantastic relationship with you and your child.
All of our staff are qualified, warm, caring, and are committed to continuing their professional development
Please be assured all of our staff are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and are never alone with a child.
Our nurseries all have internal security systems making each location a safe and secure place for your child
Our nurseries are all registered with Ofsted
We believe that healthy, interesting, nutritious meals are of fundamental importance, which is why at each nursery we employ a cook to prepare home cooked meals on site in our own kitchens on a daily basis.

Families from across the City of York and surrounding villages are welcome to attend any of our Holiday Clubs.
Our management service is unique, as we can offer the day to day management of your setting instead of parent volunteers. Our Management Service includes completion of accounts, invoicing, banking, budgets and payrolls. We would be responsible for safe recruitment of staff and staff development. We make sure each setting is meeting Ofsted requirements and is offering high quality childcare. We fund raise and complete grant applications, making sure your setting is sustainable.
